Fall Walleye Bite

Having blue bird skis and a lake that looks like glass, is not the first thing that comes to a walleye fisherman's mind.
Those conditions are usually associated with high pressure systems and in the walleye world that usually means tight lipped fish.

Knowing this, we dead sticked with a fathead. Any movement or jigging resulted in zero bites. By slowing down the presentation we were able to put a few eyes in the box and a couple of crappies.
