Late Ice Lakers

Late ice is a great time to chase after Lake Trout. Trout are cruisers and staying on them can sometimes be a challenge. The warmer weather makes it so much easier to stay mobile.

This weekend we could do just that. Staying mobile was the key. We were running and gunning and man did it pay off. We found most of our trout in 40-60' of water just off the sharp breaks.

If we weren't marking bait. we were moving. We were jigging Clam Super Leech Flutter Spoons and tube jigs working the water column very vigorously. It was a great trip with great friends.
